DirectDex line of Deep Hole Drilling Tools & Inserts
Sunnen has leveraged our expertise in precision bore sizing and finishing to expand into deephole drilling with our own line of deep hole drilling machinery as well as Sandvik-style tools, carbide inserts and accessories, including replacement parts for many of the discontinued Sandvik product lines. Sunnen’s DirectDex series is a replacement for the Sandvik CoroDrill 800 product line.
DirectDex indexable drill heads cover a diameter range of 25 mm - 65 mm (0.984" - 2.559") and are designed with robust pressed carbide inserts available in multiple carbide grades, coatings and chip breaker designs.
