Sunnen’s HellerDex line of Solid Drilling Tools & Inserts
The HellerDex line of solid drilling tools spans the higher end of the tooling diameter range, adjusting up to 5mm (.197”) with the use of plus-style spares. The tool diameter range is 40mm - 229mm (1.496" to 9.015").
These tools are designed to provide close diameter tolerances and high surface finish. With ideal machine part setup conditions, .003” per/ft tool centerline deviation is attainable.
In addition to the drill heads, Sunnen also offers corresponding inner and outer Single Tube and Double Tube System drill tubes, pressure heads and premium oils.
